Professional Background
Paul began his career at the Davis Center for Portfolio Management, where he conducted equity research and built advanced financial models—including DCF, dividend discount, and regression analysis. His recommendations contributed to the fund’s acquisition of Abbott Laboratories, an investment that went on to outperform its benchmark.
He then joined LexisNexis Group as a SaaS sales professional, where he quickly distinguished himself by earning the New Business Newcomer of the Year Award. His consultative sales approach and innovative negotiation strategies enabled him to maximize client value without relying on discounts.
In 2015, Paul founded Fackler Enterprises, LLC, an M&A advisory firm through which he successfully closed 29 transactions totaling more than $66 million in enterprise value. His work spanned manufacturing, distribution, education, healthcare, and e-commerce, and was supported by a robust professional network of attorneys, accountants, bankers, and tax advisors.
Education and Personal Life
Paul earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton, double-majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurship. In 2011, he completed an International Immersion Program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, where he became fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Paul lives outside Charlotte, NC, with his wife and their three energetic boys.
